5Delectable desserts made with & served with WINE!!  May 31, 2004
This is the other cookbook that I bought my two older daughters for this coming Christmas. But again I've fallen in love with this cookbook too and it's delectable recipes that I'm going to have to get this book for myself too. These are dessert recipes that are made with and/or served with wine, which after reading this cookbook are really easy recipes and elegant desserts to end an eleagant meal.
I love making peach pie or peach cobbler so the Peach Streusel Pie and the Country Peach Tart with Gerurztraminer Glaze is right up my alley.
I have a friend who makes good truffles, but I'm going to have to out do him with the Carbernet Truffles or the White Chocolate & Brandy Truffles recipes in this book.
My oldest daughter's favorite wine is Merlot, so she'll definetly enjoy the Merlot Brownies, along with her favorite dessert right now is creme brulee, she'll also have to do the Chocolate Truffle Creme Brulee served with Carbernet Sauvignon.
Thers's more delicious recipes that I want to try that I didn't mention. Again just as the Main Course Cookbook the recipes are easy and elegant and some are from executive chefs & caterers too.
